DIY wedding hairstyles

getting your hair done for a wedding seems to be one of the most overcharged and exploited parts of wedding prep/planning. i saw one site that charged well over $200! seriously? they better be using real diamond dust and gold flecked hairspray on me for that.

So I lurked around on Youtube for a few hours and here are some ideas i like thus far that i think i or my talented sis can diy:

i really really wish that my hair was longer. maybe i should consider extensions. hmm.... has anyone else with normal to fine hair like myself, experimented with extensions. I don't want to look fake, but I definitely want to look beautiful, of course. What's been your experience with hair extensions?
